Bio

Hello!  I'm Tracey Almon, library media specialist at Deshler High School.  I live in Tuscumbia with my husband Bruce, my son Samuel, and our dog Rose.  I have twin sons, Daniel and Andrew, who are both married and attending college out of the area.

Most of my spare time is spent at a ball field, as my son Samuel plays football and baseball for DHS - but I wouldn't have it any other way - I LOVE watching him compete and cheering for the TIGERS!!!

I love my job and hope the students see that in me.  My goal as a librarian is to encourage every child to love books, love learning, and love the library!  I want students to see the library as a welcoming place, where questions can be answered and minds can be challenged!
